People are people, why should it matter who they love?
My (now) ex-girlfriend is bisexual. She liked to say she was just gay though, she has always abhorred the differential titles. "Gay is gay, what difference does it make in what way our gayness falls, gay is gay." I loved that in her; her openness, free spirit, and point blank (sometimes deadly) frankness.
I have had many "gay" friends throughout my life, and I would wish them all the happiness in the world. Why should I have the right; why should anyone; to deny them basic human rights. Who are they hurting?
And please save me the psychobabble about the bible. the bible does not actually say that homosexuality is bad or forbidden. Yes wordings were changed at one point to imply that it is, but it doesn't actually say that, nor did it to begin with. I was brought up to believe in a loving, forgiving, guiding G_d. Yes the same G_d can also be wrathful, condemning, and judging. Let us not forget some other points in the bible... Judge not lest you be judged (that's G_d's job). Be unto others as you would have them be unto you (others have the same rights as you do, treat them that way).
I say they have the G_d given right to be treated as ANY other, and the government given right (recognized or not) to equality and the pursuit of happiness! Maybe it's about time everyone realized, accepted, and moved along with that.
